Torrie (Torrie) Wilson was born on a family farm in Boise Idaho. The farm is surrounded by the usual crops of corn, potatoes, and wheat. Wilson is a model-in-training in the late 1990s was taken by her husband to WWE's backstage areas on a trip to the ring. After accompanying Scott Steiner into the ring for a short time and then re-joining the business for a total of ten years. Wilson managed David Flair and The Filthy animals and Billy Kidman. She also was a regular competitor for WCW. Wilson was a part of WWE following the spring 2001 purchase of WCW. Wilson's athleticism helped make her the perfect match for WWE in one of sports and entertainment's most thrilling time periods. Wilson's friendship with Stacy Keibler who was her biggest adversary and sometimes friend was a key figure in WCW's invasion of WWE. After the invasion was put off, Wilson became a key female wrestler in WWE's women's division and was involved in unforgettable rivalries against the likes Keibler, Sable and Melina. And even Dawn Marie was not able to stop her from fighting to defend the honour of her family.
