Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mom is English. She grew up on a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. During her time at the school, she was a part-time actor in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was raised in a large family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball fields because the four brothers who were athletic played baseball, hockey, and basketball in winter and summer. Ashley did not have the ability to walk but she was able to dance. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in with. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. The big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the distinction of "top Soloist".
