Kelly Clarkson, an American performer, songwriter, and actress who was crowned the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The win not only catapulted her to stardom however, it also secured her a multi-album recording contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since her debut, she released numerous albums. From those, three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. She is considered one of most successful American Idol artists. To be successful, she tried out different musical styles, and explored themes. As a result of her uniqueness and skill in the field of singing and songwriter, she received praise from reviewers and was awarded a couple of important prizes. She's been honored with Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award 3 times. Aside from her career in the field of music, she has also been featured on film and television. In addition, she is the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
