LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30th, 1984. He is an American pro basketball player. He is known as King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful players of all time and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James holds 4 NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. Two Olympic golds. James is the NBA All-Star with the highest number of playoff points. He also has the second highest career point total and the seventh best career assist total. It is a NBA record that he has been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight in succession from 2011 to 2018; James was also chosen to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. James was selected for part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the first NBA player to reach 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised James as a possible NBA star. He was a prep-to pro and selected with the top pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. In 2004, he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP title in both the years 2009 and 2010. James, who did not take home the title in Cleveland in 2010, quit as a free-agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was disclosed by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a sports free-agent in the history of sports.
